Lachute United Church
We are a welcoming community that worships weekly in the intimate space of a former funeral home. We love to sing together, and support one another in joy and in sorrow. Coffee and sweets after worship allows for a time to connect. People say that this congregation is like family.
We see God active in our support of the local food bank. We worship with seniors at local residences. We have an active support of the neighbour treatment center (Pavillion Hamford). As individuals we visit, knit prayer shawls, help to teach reading, lead exercises, all strengthened by coming together in worship. Selling our big old Main Street building has given us the resources and the freedom to support the whole LAM community.
Worship times: Every Sunday at 11 am (come a few minutes early to sing with the little choir)
