Knox-Wesley United Church, Grenville

Knox-Wesley United Church, Grenville

We are a small welcoming community living out our faith in the community of Grenville and Grenville sur la Rouge. We like to support the work of Mission and Service Gifts with Vision, by donating coins to “Noah” our rainbow sock puppet.

Several members of our congregation do outreach weekly, by serving breakfast at the local Grenville Elementary School. Every year a large craft sale is organized by a member of Knox Wesley, and many artists and artisans in the surrounding area take part. We support our local Food Bank monthly, by contributing food, and money.

At Christmas, members of the congregation, with the help of friends, sing carols, and festive songs at the local IGA. Knox Wesley has an active UCW (United Church Women) and many members also belong to the local Women's Institute, as well as being members of the local Rotary Club. Each year members make and sell fresh apple pies to support the work of the church

In the past members have organized a successful fund raising event for a burnt out family. We also support events held by our local Catholic Church, and the Anglican Church by attending many of their functions.
